Section 5. Chapter 15.12 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and <br />reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.010. Adoption. <br /> <br /> The International Fire Code, 2003 Edition, published by the Intemational Code Council, <br />4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795, is hereby adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part of this Code. The purpose and subject <br />matter of the International Fire Code include minimum standards relating to the storage, <br />handling, and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and providing greater safety <br />and protection to the public from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of <br />buildings or premises. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.020. Section 101.1 Title. <br /> <br />Section 101.1 of the International Fire Code is amended to insert "the City of Louisville" so the <br />section will read: <br /> <br />101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Fire Code of the City of Louisville, <br />hereinafter referred to as this code. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.030. Section 108 deleted. <br /> <br />Section 108 of the International Fire Code is deleted. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.040. Section 109. Violations. <br /> <br />Section 109 of the International Fire Code is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the <br />following: <br /> <br />109. Violations. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, <br />enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or <br />maintain any building or structure or cause or permit the work to be done, in violation of the <br />provisions of this chapter or the terms of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this <br />chapter. Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions <br />of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this chapter shall be subject to the penalty <br />provided in section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.12.050. Section 111.4 Failure to comply-amended. <br /> <br />Section 111.4 of the International Fire Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />111.4 Failure to comply. Any person who shall continue any work after having been served with <br />a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
