Caleb Dickinson <br />Councilmember Deborah Fahey <br />Councilmember Chris Leh (arrived 7:02 pm) <br />Councilmember Maxine Most <br />Staff Present: Jeff Durbin, City Manager <br />Megan Davis, Deputy City Manager <br />Rob Zuccaro, Planning and Building Safety Director <br />Chad Root, Chief Building Official <br />Kayla Betzold, Sustainability Coordinator <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Others Present: Anne McCullough, Group 14 Engineering <br />Kim Schlaepfer, Lotus Engineering & Sustainability <br />Claire Kantor, Lotus Engineering & Sustainability <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION — COMMERCIAL ENERGY CODE UPDATE OPTIONS <br />Planning Director Zuccaro noted this item has been on the City Council work plan for <br />two years. Council asked for a review of the commercial code specifically after last <br />year's update to energy efficiency building codes. Council asked that the IECC Net Zero <br />Commercial Appendix or other net zero goals and strategic implementation of all - <br />electric construction be reviewed. <br />Consultants Lotus Engineering & Sustainability and Group 14 helped the City through <br />the Marshall Fire and is currently assisting with building code review. <br />Director Zuccaro stated staff is seeking feedback on four questions.
