6 City.C) <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, May 19, 2023 <br />Regular Meeting <br />1. Call to Order: Chair Leh called the meeting to order at 1:32 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair Leh, <br />Mayor Pro Tern Fahey, and Councilmember Most. Also present were <br />Community Development Director Rob Zuccaro, Economic Vitality Manager <br />April Kroner, Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown, and Historic <br />Preservation Planner Amelia Brackett Hogstad. Seven members of the public <br />were present. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Mayor Pro Tern Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Most. <br />Motion passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Mayor Pro Tern Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of April 21, 2023. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilmember Most. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Mike Deborski addressed <br />the EVC regarding Old Style Sausage's upcoming 50t" anniversary/Fourth of <br />July celebration. Mr. Deborski noted that the event will be framed as a <br />"homecoming" for Marshall Fire survivors and that it would likely need support <br />from the Louisville Police Department. He also addressed concerns that last <br />year's event included non-residents. <br />6. Staff Updates: Manager Kroner gave an overview of Business Assistance <br />Program (BAP) activity, noting that City Council had recently approved a BAP <br />agreement with Tendeg LLC. She noted that the company was also approved <br />for state incentives and that they are considering multiple locations. <br />Manager Kroner continued her updates with a summary of the Radiance <br />MedSpa project at 916 Main. The property owner applied for direct financial <br />assistance from the Louisville Revitalization Commission during its May <br />meeting.
