<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2023 BUDGET BY AMENDING
<br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN SPACE & PARKS
<br />FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST - LOTTERY FUND, HISTORIC
<br />RESERVATION FUND, RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND,
<br />RECREATION CONSTRUCTION FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND,
<br />WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, GOLF
<br />COURSE FUND, AND FLEET MANAGEMENT FUND FOR CARRY FORWARD
<br />OF APPROPRIATIONS AND ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH
<br />FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND,
<br />OPEN SPACE & PARKS FUND, HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND,
<br />RECREATION FUND, AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT FUND, CAPITAL
<br />PROJECTS FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND,
<br />GOLF COURSE FUND, AND FLEET MANAGEMENT FUND
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2023 budget by amending
<br />appropriations in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, Conservation
<br />Trust — Lottery Fund, Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation Fund, Capital
<br />Projects Fund, Recreation Construction Fund, Water Utility Fund, Wastewater
<br />Utility Fund, Storm Water Utility Fund, Golf Course Fund, and Fleet Management
<br />Fund and adjusting the budget revenue in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks
<br />Fund, Recreation Fund, and Golf Course Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2023 budget arises:
<br />1. To carryforward unused appropriations from 2022 to 2023 for
<br />projects that Council approved for 2022 but, for various reasons, needed to extend
<br />into 2023;
<br />2. To adopt other operating and capital adjustments to the 2023
<br />expenditure budget for items that staff did not anticipate, or were not measureable,
<br />at the time Council adopted the original 2023 budget;
<br />3. To adopt other operating adjustments to the 2023 expenditure
<br />budget;
<br />WHEREAS, funding for any increase in appropriations will come from
<br />new/increased revenue or from fund reserves.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br />SECTION 1. That the 2023 General Fund appropriation be increased by
<br />$1,002,558, from $29,634,440 to $30,636,998.
<br />SECTION 2. That the 2023 Open Space & Parks Fund appropriation be
<br />increased by $1,266,758, from $4,445,030 to $5,711,788.
