Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Council needs to <br />authorize the Mayor to sign the audit letter <br />for 1977 audit to be done by Fortner-Hauber <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the Mayor <br />be authorized to sign the letter permitting <br />Fortner-Hauber to do the City 1977 audit. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that George <br />Wortham be appointed as a permanent member <br />to the Board of Appeals. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Frank Velasquez <br />be appointed as an alternate on the Board <br />of Appeals. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Dhieux moved that Council approve <br />the change orders on the sewer plant. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. <br />DelPizzo yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried.. <br />It was noted that everything is going <br />smoothly at the plant. <br /> <br />Mr. Hurl introduced the Mayor of Basalt, <br />Linda Crossland and the City Manager of <br />Carbondale, Skip Flewelling. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked about Section 2, <br />purchaser agrees to pay seller the sum of <br />$1250 for each acre foot of water which can <br />be diverted; he asked if after the point of <br />diversion, is that the amount of water the <br />City pays for. Mr. Wurl stated that it was <br />and this is how it is done now. Mr. Wurl <br />stated that before you could lose 40% of the <br />water at diversion, that is why the stipulation <br />is in the agreement. <br />After discussion, Councilman DelPizzo moved <br />that the City approve the purchase of the <br />Blumenhein and Pritchard Cottonwood Water. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo.
