Roll Call; <br />DiLorenzo yes, Caranci Yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />ryhieux yes, DelPizzo yes,Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance was <br />drafted under the guidelines of the State <br />statute which was adopted in the last legis- <br />lative session which required municipality's <br />to adopt the standards. On the recommenda- <br />tion of the Building Inspector, the ordinance <br />includes a portion about exterior walls under <br />Section 11. He then read the ordinance on <br />first reading by title only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #571 <br />be ordered published. Seconded by DiLorenzo. <br />Under Council Comments, Council DelPizzo <br />stated that he did not feel that it was going <br />to burden the people and did not feel that <br />the City should have such an ordinance. It <br />was stated that State law requires the ordin- <br />ance; however, the requirements would not be <br />necessary unless 50% of the total value of <br />the home is done in remodeling or it is a new <br />home. After discussion roll call vote was <br />taken. DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, Dhieux yes,Domenico yes. DelPizzo no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the Ordinance #572 on First <br />reading by title only. Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that Ordinance #572 be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll Call vote: <br />DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Dhi.eux yes, Domenico no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />With nothing more to report, Councilman Di- <br />Lorenzo moved that the City Attorney's report <br />be accepted and placed on file. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that he received a phone call <br />which reported that the City has been formally <br />approved on the grant application and also <br />some preliminary information has been received <br />and the City needs to sign the letter of intent <br />to meet conditions.
