THE COMMUNITY HALL HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING SIDEWALK CURB GUTTER REPLACEMENT COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS SEWER DRAIM - CAMPS October 4, 1977 Page 5, Minutes Mr. Wurl stated that Scott's Sheet Metal was awarded the bid for the work however, they have never come in to sign the contract, therefore, the staff would like Council to award the bid to the second lowest bidder, McWilliams Sheet Metal, in the amount of $6,863. Councilman Domenico moved that the con- tract be reawarded to McWilliams Sheet Metal in the amount of $6,863. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. Dhieux yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, Domenico yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that it was budgeted to do a sidewalk curb gutter replacement pro- ject in 1977. The areas to be dealt with are: Main St. from Walnut to Parkview Elm St. from Main St. to Front St. Pine ST. from Main St. to alley east of Main Spruce from Main St. to Jefferson. Mr. Wurl stated that they would like to call for quotes on the improvements for the next meeting. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that staff be allowed to call for quotes on the improve- ments. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. With no more to report Councilman Caranci moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. Councilman Domenico stated that he has received call requesting that the Code Enforcement officer check out the Colacci apartments on Pine St. for abandoned cats. Mr. Wurl stated that he would contact Mr. Colacci about the matter. Councilman Domenico stated that Mrs. Camps asked if something could be done to cor- rect the storm drain problem as there was a pipe sticking out. Mr. Wurl stated that with the new storm sewer in the problem in question will be resolved.
