COUNCIL COMMENTS
PARKS MINUTES

MASSAGE PARLORS

DRCOG NPO REPRESENTATIVE

TIM. WIRTH MEETING

LONG RANGE PLANNING

OFFICE HOURS

DOMENICO VS.
E.F. INDUSTRIES

February 15, 1977
Minutes - page 10

Councilman DiCarlo requested that Mr. Wurl
contact Mr. Helart to discuss Item D. of the
minutes which pertain to Centauraus charging
fees to other teams who use Miners Field.

Councilman Caranci asked if there was any City
law restricting massage parlors.
Mr. Wurl stated that there was not.
Attorney Joss stated that he would check into
the obscenity definitions.

Councilman DiLorenzo stated that she had re-
ceived a letter from DRCOG requesting that a
representative from the City be appointed to
NPO, preferably an elected official.

Councilman DiLorenzo stated that she received
a call from Tim Wirth's office requesting that
he be allowed to hold a city meeting on May
7, 1977 at City hall. There was no conflict
on the calendar.

Councilman DiLorenzo reported on the Long
Range Planning Commission. She stated that
here has been discussion on Indian Peaks
where they are recommending that the entire
area be designated as wilderness.

Councilman DiCarlo asked about the hours of
the City offices and crew.
He stated that he has had many requests for
City Hall to be open until 4:30 P.M.

Mr. Wurl stated that at one time new hours
were tested, but it cost more to have the
offices open then for the amount of business
that was received; however, business hours
have been being discussed with staff for
several months. He remarked that there is
much phone activity between 4 and 5 and that
he would check into the hours further.

Councilman DiCarlo asked if anything has been
accomplished on resolving the problem with
Mr. Domenico and E. F. Industries.
Mr. Wurl stated that he is still trying to
locate an independant firm to do the study.
Councilman DiCarlo suggested that the job
be advertised.
Mr. Wurl stated that he will check into it
further and see if he can come up with someone
before putting it in for advertisement.
