CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS CITY ATTORNEY LETTER RESIGNATION Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Attorney report as presented by the City Administrator be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence with Council. Councilman McDonald moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man DiLorenzo. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl read the letter from Attorney Morris resigning his position as City Attorney to the City of Louisville for personal reasons. Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Council accept the resignation from Attorney Morris. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Motion carried. Mayor Waschak stated that someone should be appointed to the position temporarily. Councilman McDonald moved that Bruce Joss be appointed as acting City Attorney temporarily until the official appointment is made. Seconded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Percy Conarroe stated that Council should consider the fact that Mr. Joss is attorney for E. F. I. in the case with Alex Domenico which the City has been involved in; as there may be a conflict. He did not feel this good policy. Council stated that Mr. Joss would have to give up his interests that conflict with the City. Also, Mr. Joss will not act as Prosecuting Attorney with the City; Mr. Rautenstraus will take over the duty entirely. Roll call vote on motion. DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the City Administrator be authorized to ad- vertise for a City Attorney in the Boulder County region for a period of -5-
