<br />STREET OVERLAY BIDS <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />ELDERLY HOUSING PROJECT <br />UPDA TE <br /> <br />CODIFICATION <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />MAYHOFFER SUIT <br /> <br />PIERCE SUIT <br /> <br />MEMORY SQUARE PARK DEED <br /> <br />PARKING LOT DEED <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Council <br />approve the Flatiron Paving bid of <br />$31,284 for asphalt street overlay. <br />Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Roll <br />call. DelPizzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, Caranci yes, DiLorenzo yes, Domenico <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Steve Anderson informed Council that his <br />Board has received a letter from HUD <br />denying a grant for the project due to the <br />location as opposed to shopping facilities. <br />Mr. Anderson stated that he has been at a <br />meeting with HUD and it is possible that <br />he may be able to get delivery service from <br />the drug store and City Market, also he <br />will be checking on the RTD program and the <br />proposed shopping complex in the North <br />Louisville Area. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe asked about the progress of the <br />codification program. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />the first phase has been through and there <br />will be a staff meeting and then a meeting <br />with the codification firm. <br /> <br />Mr. Morris has talked with Pete Rogers, <br />Mayhoffer attorney, and he stated that the <br />agreement still needs to be signed by <br />David Mayhoffer. The hearing is still <br />scheduled for October 18, 1976. <br /> <br />Mr. Morris stated that in speaking with <br />Bob Pierce, attorney for Marv Pierce, <br />.Mr. Pierce stated that there was only <br />one possible area for settlement; that <br />being the sharing of cost for drilling on <br />the property. Mr. Morris stated that he <br />had turned the matter over to the insurance <br />company. <br /> <br />~Mr. Morris reported that the Mayor has <br />signed the agreements. <br /> <br />JMr. Morris stated that the parking lot has <br />been done according to specifications and <br />LURA will take final action at their meeting. <br /> <br />I- <br />.) . <br />
