COAL CREEK STATION CONT'D He stated that the plans and speci- fications required by the City have been submitted and that the development would be under the existing zoning. He also stated the plans for the area would be partly development and the other sold. Mr. Brock noted that discussion was held with the State Geological Survey and still in progress regarding the undermining located in the area proposed for development. Resolution #5 was read by Mr. Wurl approving the Coal Creek Station Pre- liminary P.U.D. plan subject to noted corrections. Councilman DelPizzo asked about the number of streets as the plan showed only one. Mr. Brock stated that the one street noted on the map was the only street planned. Councilman Caranci asked who scheduled the public hearing for the plan, as he knew nothing about the proposed plans. Mr. Wurl stated that in the Ordinance governing procedures for P.U.D. 's it states this order for the hearing. It was noted that the planned hearing was a preliminary hearing. Councilman Caranci asked how long the Planning Commission had worked on the project. It was stated that the Board discussed the proposal and studied the plans at three meetings. Council was informed that the pre- liminary hearing was not final approval on the proposed development and any changes could be discussed and decided upon prior to the final approval. After discussion Councilman McDonald moved that Resolution #5, Series 1976, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Mrs. Shipton asked if the City had an ordinance which requires an establish- ment to have sanitary facilities and to run clean establishments. Mr. Wurl stated that there was such a coding. -2-
