DRCOG - CONSORTIUM CONT'D BULLETIN BOARD RAMP ENTRANCE - CITY HALL ALLEY WAY 800 BLOCK MAIN Councilman DiLorenzo stated that she has been attending the DRCOG meetings and Mr. Farley of DRCOG stated that he would like to see a joint work session with Louisville and Lafayette and DRCOG re- presentatives. Mr. Wurl stated that he felt it may be a good gesture to meet with the people for discussion of planning; not just under the Mizel development, but the future plan- ning in whole. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he was against the idea. Councilman DiCarlo and Councilman Caranci stated that they would not be in favor of meeting with DRCOG representatives and Lafayette. Councilman McDonald stated that if Council feels that DRCOG and Boulder County Con- sortium is not benefitting the City, then is it necessary to attend the meetings. Council stated that in general they were not enthusiastic about attending the meetings, however, DRCOG does supply the City with different grants. Under Con- sortium it was felt that the attendance to the meetins is important on a face falue. If the City quit the Consortium they would be faced with more probelms because of the fact that they did quit. Councilman McDonald asked if there was some way to utilize the builletin board. Mr. Wurl stated that the board can be used for the scheduling of meetings. Councilman McDonald stated that she would like to see a ramp put in for handicapped persons who would like to come to meetings or to City Hall. Councilman McDonald asked if the citizens involved in the alley way located between Main and LaFarge on the 800 block could be poled again in regards to having that alley put in one way heading south. Mr. Wurl stated that he would get the previous information to Mrs. McDonald for review. -6-
