<br />CHIEF OF POLICE APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF POLICE CHIEF <br /> <br />POLICE SERGEANT APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF POLICE OFFICERS <br />JAMES MORRIS <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl stated that <br />the only application received was <br />for Dennis Munger. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Chief <br />Munger be reappointed as police chief <br />and all officers stated on the agenda <br />be reappointed. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Councilman DiCarlo <br />felt that the appointments should <br />be handled one at a time. Council- <br />man Domenico concurred. <br />Roll call was taken on the motion. <br />Domenico no, Dilorenzo yes, Caranci <br />yes, DiCarlo no, McDonald no, DelPizzo <br />yes. Tie vote. Mayor Waschak voted <br />no to defeat the motion. <br />The reappointments were to handled <br />separately. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Chief <br />Dennis Munger be reappointed. Se- <br />conded by Councilman McDonald. <br />Roll call. Domenico yes, Dilorenzo <br />yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />McDonald yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Gene <br />Barday be reappointed as Police <br />Sergeant. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that James <br />Morris be reappointed as a Police <br />Officer. Seconded by Councilman <br />Dilorenzo. Councilman Domenico asked <br />if Mr. Morris was still planning on <br />quitting the force. It was stated <br />that Mr. Morris was planning on moving <br />closer to his family, however he was <br />unable to find work and would be staying <br />on. <br />Roll call on motion. DiCarlo no, <br />Domenico no, McDonald no, DelPizzo yes, <br />Caranci yes, Dilorenzo yes. Motion <br />tied. Mayor Waschak stated that he <br />would not vote, therefore roll call <br />vote was taken on the motion again <br />with Council. Domenico no, McDonald <br />no, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no, Caranci <br />no, Dilorenzo yes.
