CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT CONT'D
WATER BOND IMPROVEMENTS

LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION
ALINE STEINBAUGH

Mr. Wurl reviewed the water bond
improvements breakdown and water
project history.
Councilman DiCarlo asked why the
tank was dropped from a 4 million
gallon tank to 2.5 million gallons.
Mr. Wurl stated that during the first
few breakdowns the figures were not
very comparable. Mr. Wurl stated
that the reason the tank was dropped
to 2.5 million gallons was because
the fire underwriters did a survey
on Louisville and came up with re-
commendations and regulations different
the regulations used at the beginning
of the project. These regulations
required more fire storage per capita
then what it was at the beginning.
It was then that the tank size dropped.

Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence.

Mr. Wurl stated that Aline Steinbaugh
has applied for a liquor license
and a hearing had to be scheduled.
Councilman DiCarlo moved that the
liquor license application hearing
be scheduled for February 3, 1976.
Seconded by Councilman Domenico.
Councilman Caranci asked what type
of proposal they had made with the
bad debt from Richard Codron on the
Three Coins Restaurant. Mr. Wurl
stated that the applicant wanted the
City to give them an acceptable amount
to clear the debt.
Councilman Caranci asked why the
United Bank of Broomfield had backed
down on their offer of $6,000.
Mr. Wurl stated that the offer applied
to the application of Giolette-Sargeant
and since that application was with-
drawn the bank withdrew their offer
also as it pertained to the application
of Gioletti and Sargeant.
Councilman DelPizzo felt that Mr. Codron
should be made to pay the bill and
no one else should be responsible.
Attorney Morris stated that if a portion
of the debt is paid off the agreement
can be made that Mr. Codron is respon-
sible for the remainder of the debt.

-4-
