Section 9. Pursuant to Section 1-7-904, C.R.S., on or before the 42nd day prior to the election, the designated election official shall cause the notice required by Section 20(3)(b) of Article X of the Colorado Constitution to be prepared and delivered to the County Clerk. Section 10. The officers and employees of the City are hereby authorized and directed to take all action necessary or appropriate to effectuate the provisions of this ordinance. Section 11. All actions heretofore taken (not inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance) by the City, directed towards the election and the objects and purposes herein stated, are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. Section ! 2. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof irrespective of the fact that any one part be declared invalid. Section 13. All other ordinances or portions thereof inconsistent or conflicting with this ordinance or any portion hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict.
