RESOLUTION NO. 50 <br />SERIES 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR A COMMUNITY <br />IMPACT GRANT FROM THE STATE BOARD OF THE GREAT OUTDOORS <br />COLORADO TRUST FUND TOWARDS THE RECONSTRUCTION OF ENCLAVE <br />AND SUNFLOWER PARKS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville supports the Great Outdoors Colorado grant <br />application for the reconstruction of Enclave and Sunflower Parks and if the grant is <br />awarded, the City of Louisville supports the completion of the project. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has requested $500,000 from Great Outdoors <br />Colorado to match $500,000 Capital Funds to reconstruct park amenities and <br />infrastructure damaged by the 2021 Marshall Fire. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Louisville strongly supports the <br />application for a grant with Great Outdoors Colorado. <br />Section 2. If the grant is awarded, the City Council of the City of Louisville <br />strongly supports the fulfillment of the project. <br />Section 3. If the grant is awarded, the City Council hereby authorizes the <br />City's Mayor at time of award to sign the grant agreement with Great Outdoors <br />Colorado. <br />Section 4.
