WHEREAS, if passed, the Affordable Housing Tax Extension could fund housing <br />acquisition, development and construction, mechanisms for preserving affordable <br />housing, support for residents at risk of losing their housing, and services for residents <br />seeking housing and/or home ownership. <br />WHEREAS, state law allows the City Council to adopt this resolution as a <br />statement of City Council's position of support for the adoption of Ballot Issue 1 B. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, that the City Council supports the approval of Boulder <br />County Issue 1 B Affordable Housing Sales and Use Tax and urges Louisville citizens to <br />vote YES at the November 7, 2023 election. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED and approved this nd day of October, 2023 <br />Dennis Maloney, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />eredy`th Muth, City Cle <br />®RADA <br />Resolution No. 58, Series 2023 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
