Upcoming City Events (September -October): • September 15 through October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month — The City's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion manager has created an activity for every day of the month for the community to learn about and engage with Hispanic heritage. Find the links here. • September is also Louisville History Month! The Historical Museum has several special programs happening this month — learn more at their website. Upcoming City cultural calendar includes: 09/16 — Vintage "Base Ball" Game. Miners Field. 09/23 — Historic Trees of Downtown Louisville. Museum + Parks, Rec, Open Space in downtown 09/30 — Butterfly Pavilion "Beautiful Butterflies." Library, 10:15 AM 09/30 — Louisville on La Farge. Museum, down La Farge Ave. 10/09 — Indigenous People's Day 10/14 — Marshall Fire Conservation workshops (clean/stabilize/preserve fire damaged items). Museum Marketing: The "Plaza Unplugged" concert series, Silent Movie (film title hadn't been determined by deadline date), Opera Colorado "Arias and Ensembles", Salome Songbird, and Crisosto Apache "Talk and Poetry Reading" were included in the autumn print community newsletter (July 10, 2023 deadline for titles, dates/times, images, descriptions, etc.).
