Restoration is the act or process of accurately depicting the form, features, and <br />character of a property as it appeared at a particular period of time. Approved <br />work focuses on exterior work and includes the removal of features from other <br />periods in its history and reconstruction of missing features from the restoration <br />period. <br />Under Section 12(H) of Resolution 17, Series 2019, Preservation and Restoration <br />Grants can be approved for work already completed. This request is for work completed <br />on the property and the numbers requested are based on receipts submitted by the <br />applicant. <br />Staff reviewed the grant request by evaluating whether each request qualified for grant <br />funding as either preservation, rehabilitation, or restoration.
