aTY OF LOUISVILLE COLORADO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE ON THE PROPOSED ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE, 2023 EDITION NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Louisville will hold a Public Hearing commencing at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, No- vember 28, 2023, at the Louisville City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louis- ville, Colorado, 80027. The purpose of the hearing will be to consider adoption of an ordi- nance to adopt by reference the National Fire Protection Associa- tion standard number 70, hereafter known as the National Electrical Code, 2023 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Asso- ciation, 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, Massachusetts, 02169-7471. The purpose and subject matter of the National Electrical Code In- cludes minimum regulations for the practical safeguarding of per- sons and property from the hazards arising from the use of electric- ity and minimum standards relating to the Installation of electrical conductors and equipment within or on public and private buildings and other structures, including mobile homes, recreational vehicles and floating dwelling units, and other premises such as yards, carnivals, parking and other lots, and industrial substations. Copies of the code proposed to be adopted by reference are availa- ble for public inspection at the office of the Building Safety Division from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Monday through Thursday.
