Housing Characteristics presents the current mix of housing types, housing tenure, <br />vacancy rates, and summarizes regional and local housing market trends affecting <br />Louisville's housing market. <br />■ 4. Marshall Fire Recovery discusses the progress and ongoing efforts of rebuilding <br />Louisville's housing stock destroyed in the 2021 Marshall Fire. <br />■ 5. Housing Needs in Louisville presents the forecast for housing growth in Louisville and <br />the housing needed to accommodate future residents. <br />■ 6. Summary of Existing Housing Goals and Policies includes a summary of key housing <br />goals and policies documented within the city's existing policy documents. <br />2. Community Profile <br />The purpose of this chapter is to understand the community demographic trends and factors <br />that will affect housing demand and development in the City of Louisville.
