PROJECT INFORMATION PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />COST <br />$2,426,140 <br />SCHEDULE <br />May 2021 to November 2021 <br />SIZE <br />2-acre site <br />KEY KCI STAFF <br />Gary Adams, Project Exec. <br />Ken Humphrey, Project Mgr <br />Kam Maleki, General Super. <br />Rick Brundage, Super. <br />NEW CONSTRUCTION / RENOVATION <br />Inspiration Point Park, originally built in 1910, is a 25.5-acre park situated on a bluff <br />that provides a view of nearly 200 miles of the front range of the Rocky Mountains, <br />as well as the entire City of Denver. <br />KCI is currently in construction on this project to restore a portion of the historic <br />wall and improve the western park overlook, install a new playground set within <br />the existing, native landscape, construct a new picnic site with a shade pavilion, <br />improve the parking area accessibility, and create a traffic calming circle. <br />This project is the culmination of several years of careful planning as well as <br />community outreach and engagement to provide unique play experiences, repair <br />the historic concrete wall, and improve the ecology of the natural areas that <br />comprise the character of the park. <br />50 <br />
