<br />DEL PIZZO REZONING cont'd <br /> <br />Barbara McDonald stated that she did not <br />know whether or not people were sure what <br />commercial zoning did. She stated that <br />if property is zoned commercial the pur- <br />chasing would be more expensive when <br />getting a loan with a higher interest <br />rate. <br />No one spoke against the rezoning at <br />the public hearing. <br />Mr. Dennis DelPizzo spoke in favor of <br />the rezoning stating that the people <br />in that area wanted it zoned commercial <br />and residential and also that he felt <br />it would be right for the area. <br />With no other remarks the hearing was <br />closed and remarks were allowed by <br />Council. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that when <br />she began working with Planning it was <br />near the end of the rezoning, and she <br />stated that she felt everything was <br />done within the law as with notifications, <br />etc. <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he con- <br />curred with Mr. DelPizzo's request. <br />Councilman stated his feelings on the <br />request and felt that he could not approve <br />it as with what was presented. <br />Mayor Waschak requested that Council take <br />action on the matter. Councilman Domenico <br />moved that the decision be tabled for <br />further study. Second By Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry <br />no, Dhieux no, DelPizzo yes, Caranci no <br />DiCarlo yes. Tie vote. Mayor Waschak <br />voted yes to table the decision. <br />Councilman DiCarlo then moved that the <br />rezoning be scheduled for the first meeting <br />in February. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Roll call. Caranci no, Berry <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, Domenico no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />JENSEN RESIGNATION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a letter from LURA notifying <br />Council that Mr. Robert Jensen has re- <br />signed from the Board due to a conflict. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council <br />accept the resignation.
