PUBLIC HEARING H.B. 1041 CONT'D After Mr. Drumms presentation Councilman Berry moved that the Public Hearing on H.B. 1041 be opened. Seconded by Coun- cilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing; there were no comments. The public hearing was closed and discussion was turned over to Council. Mr. Wur1 stated that action must now be taken on the Resolutions pertaining to H.B. 104l. Mr. Wurl stated that Resolution #25 was no longer appropriate as it was adopted by the Planning Commission and that was all that was necessary. This resolution pertained to Subdivision Regulation Amend- ments. Mr. Donald Hou1ehan, represnting Mr. Mizel stated that there was concern on two issues in the Zoning Ordinance Amendments. He stated that the parking space require- ments and open space requirements are tied to the number of employees in the business and they felt this may be diffi- cult to determine. Mr. Drumm stated that reasons behind the parking and open space requirements were made by considering the type of development and felt this would be a good way to control the employment number. He also stated that if the requirements do not prove acceptable, the City can then amend the provision; however he felt this was the only way the City can establish planning perimeter for the areas. Council then took action on the Resolutions pertaining to H.B. 1041. RESOLUTION #21 GEOLOGIC HAZARD AREAS Councilman Di Carlo moved that Resolution #21, Series 1975, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll call. Berry yes, Domenico yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #22 MINERAL RESOURCES Councilman DiCarlo moved that Resolution #22, Series 1975, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, Di Carlo yes. Motion carried. -2-
