<br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS cont'd <br /> <br />LAFAYETTE STREET <br /> <br />Mrs. Shipton stated that there is much <br />difficulty on Lafayette Street in the <br />Wood Brothers area with the baricaded <br />portion of the street. She stated that <br />when it snows it will be very hazardous <br />and asked that Wood Brothers be pressed <br />to get the problem resolved. <br />It was suggested that occupancy permits <br />be denied to the developers until some- <br />thing is done on the road improvements. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City will con- <br />tinue to talk with Wood Brothers as he <br />too wants to get the problem resolved. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br />CITY HALL REMODELING <br /> <br />Mr. Murl stated that Council will be <br />meeting in the new chambers at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />WATER LINE PROJECT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Water line <br />project is basically complete and that <br />the street repair has been started. <br /> <br />E. & F. INDUSTRIES <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he met with Mr. <br />Yoblin about the explosions made by <br />their company. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />three basic procedures were decided on <br />1. E. & F. have ordered a testing <br />device that will measure the effects <br />of the blast and are asking a federal <br />agency to take the reports and review <br />them to the federal standards and report <br />back to E. & F. <br /> <br />2. The City will be notified when the <br />next blast will occur and Mr. Wurl will <br />be at Mr. Domenicos home to see the <br />effects. <br />3. E. & F. would like to have a demo- <br />stration showing the function of their <br />company as they hope to be expanding in <br />the very near future. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City will also <br />contact several other residents in <br />north east Louisville on the blasting <br />situation. <br /> <br />LASTOKA - KURETICH ALLEY <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Engineer White <br />is checking on the alley problem to <br />see where the drainage problem is. <br /> <br />4. <br />
