<br />MAYHOFFER REPORT <br /> <br />SALAZAR SUIT <br /> <br />MIZEL REPORT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #474 <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />PORTION OF JEFFERSON <br />AVE. VACATION <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #477 AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE #377 WATER <br />BILLING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #19 <br />SIGNATURE AUTHORIZATION <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUNDS <br /> <br />Attorney Morris stated that the suit is <br />still in court. <br />Mayor Waschak suggested to Attorney <br />Morris that he try to get the matter <br />resolved as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris stated that Judge Dana <br />has not ruled on the matter as of yet. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris stated that oral argu- <br />ments were held at the Supreme Court in <br />Denver however, there has been no final <br />decision made. He stated that it will <br />be approximately thirty more days before <br />anything more is heard. He stated that <br />Susan Griffith argued for the Colorado <br />Municipal League and Wally Hyer of <br />Roiverg, DeMuth and Eiberger argued for <br />the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance #474 by <br />title only. Councilman Caranci moved <br />that Ordinance #474 be adopted. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing; <br />there were no comments. <br />The public hearing was closed and roll <br />call vote was taken. Domenico yes, <br />Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux yes, <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. The va- <br />cation is located west of West Street. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance #477 <br />amending Ordinance #377 in regards to <br />water billings and payments. Mr. Wurl <br />stated that the old procedure was <br />running payment due dates into the next <br />billing date. After discussion Coun- <br />cilwoman Dhieux moved that Ordinance <br />#477 be ordered published. Seconded by <br />Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Resolution #19. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the Resolution should <br />be corrected to state any three of the <br />following names can appear on the vouchers. <br /> <br />Mayor John Waschak <br />City Clerk Patricia Santilli <br />City Treasurer William Hesson <br />Mayor Pro-tern Howard Berry <br />Deputy City Clerk Cleo Mudrock <br />Deputy City Treasurer Margaret Sneddon <br /> <br />-2- <br />
