<br />SEWER BOND PROPOSAL <br /> <br />FILTER PLANT LAND <br />PURCHASE CONTRACT <br /> <br />GARAGE EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />HERSHEY LETTER <br /> <br />LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />REPRESENTATIVE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there was information <br />included in the packet for review on the sewer <br />bond issue. He stated that Mr. Krahl would be at <br />the August 21, 1975, meeting to discuss the issue. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Council had discussed <br />earlier the need for the acquisition of two <br />small parcels of land adjacent to the filter <br />plant. The acerage which is being negotiated <br />is 1.66 acres. Mr. Wallace is the owner of <br />that property and is agreeable in selling the <br />land for $4,800.00 for the 1.66 acres. <br />He stated that what was needed was the author- <br />ization for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign <br />the purchase agreement for the amount of $4,800 <br />which is $300.00 more then the appraisal 13 <br />months earlier. Mr. Wurl showed Council the area <br />in question on the map. After discussion Coun- <br />cilman Berry moved that the City Administrator <br />be instructed to proceed with the actual purchase <br />contract as prepared by the City Attorney and <br />present it to Council at the next meeting. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. Councilman DelPizzo <br />requested that the City Administrator see if <br />there is a possibility of acquiring more land in <br />that area at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry asked if it would not be <br />good to have a shop built for the crew to work <br />on the trucks etc., so they may be maintained <br />and kept in good working order. Mr, Wurl <br />stated that the staff will submit recommendations <br />on the matter at the budget meetings. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Admini- <br />strators report be accepted and placed on file. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that a letter be sent <br />to Mr. Richard Hershey thanking him for his <br />time and effort put forth on CAC. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a memo from the County Commissioners <br />stating that Mrs. Mary DiLorenzo was appointed <br />to the Long Range Planning Commission replacing <br />Mr. Jack Lang's unexpired term. <br /> <br />c-3""' <br />
