<br />SPROUL ROAD cont'd <br /> <br />MARY DILORENZO - PETITIONS <br /> <br />SOLICITORS <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />PARKING LOT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />GARRETT ALLEY <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />within the City limits, therefore all <br />permits would have to issued through <br />the County. <br /> <br />Mrs. Mary DiLorenzo presented Council <br />with petitions favoring the annexation <br />of the Mizel industrial site, which were <br />circulated through the Louisville Cit- <br />izens for Progress and Fairness committee. <br />Mayor Waschak thanked Mrs. DiLorenzo <br />and the group for their efforts. There <br />were approximately 500 signatures. <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Anderson asked what could be <br />done with solicitors as they are using <br />false pretenses to get into your home <br />to sell magazines, etc. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that solicitors are to have a license <br />and that if one does enter your home who <br />does not have a City license notify City <br />Hall. It was stated that religious orders <br />are exempt from obtaining a solicitors <br />license. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked how H.B.104l <br />could classify the Mizel annexation as <br />a new development. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />it was the different interpretations <br />that have been got by the House Bill. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if some type <br />of limited parking signs, or something <br />could be placed on the parking lot <br />south of City Hall so people on official <br />business within City Hall would have <br />a chance to park closer to the building. <br />After discussion it was stated that the <br />matter should be discussed with the <br />Police Department. No further action <br />was taken. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the <br />Council reports be accepted. Seconded <br />by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />N . <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that a letter was sent <br />out to all involved parties regarding <br />the decision to be made on the alley <br />running north and south between the'Park- <br />wood subdivision and the older part of <br />the City. He stated that the responses <br />were 3 and 3, however it was the staffs <br />recommendation that the alley be vacated. <br />After discussion on the matter Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved that the City Attorney be <br />instructed to draw up an Ordinance to <br />
