-2- R.E. 2 LEASE AGREEMENT Mr. He1art stated that he asked the school district to write a contract on the land so that when the Parks Dept. put money in the land if the time ever comes that buildings will have to be put up the City will be paid for the work that they had done and any equipment by the school district. This agree- ment pertains to the property west and south west of the Middle School. It would be a three-year renewable lease at $1.00 per year. It was recommended by the Mayor that since Attorney Morris was not in attendance that the a~heol agree- ment, and Memory Square Park deed be tabled until he was in attendance. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the two matters be tabled. Seconded by Coun- cilman Berry. Motion carried. TRAILS Mr. He1art briefed Council in regards to the trails location and that the Colorado Open Land Foundation would help on the purchasing of land at no cost. Council stated that they would allow the Colo. Open Land Foundation to help on the project as long as the City has final approval. After discussion, Coun- cilman Berry moved to authorize the Parks dept. to let the Colo. Open Land Foundation to assist in an advisory capacity at this time on trails at no cost to the City. Seconded by Council- man DiCarlo. Motion carried. MIZEL PRESENTATION Mr. Larry Mize1 presented his proposed annexation for the industrial park south of the City limits. He stated that the developer would pay all costs involved. He stated that the project will take approximately 10 years to be fully com- pleted. After discussion, Councilman DiCarlo moved that the request be sent to the Planning Commission for consider- ation of the Mize1 annexation. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Mize1 presented a check to the Mayor for study costs.
