<br />-3- <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico reported that he <br />is presently working with two members <br />of the Thornton City Council in regards <br />to a cat ordinance. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry reported that he rode <br />with two police officers for 6 hours. <br />He commended the officers for their <br />alertness. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he too had <br />rode with the police and felt too that <br />they were very alert. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he re- <br />ceived a telephone call from Mr. Zarini <br />in regards to the old age property <br />refund. He stated that Mr. Zarini said <br />many of the pensioners are not receiving <br />their refund. <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that a form <br />had to filled out by December 31, 1974 <br />to receive their refund, and that all <br />who filled out a form did receive the <br />refund. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo brought up the <br />possibility of putting grass in at <br />the sewage plant because weeds are <br />growing there heavily and they are <br />getting in the adjatator. <br />Councilman DelPizzo also stated that <br />there was no heat in the area in which <br />Mr. Tomeo works. After discussion <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would check <br />on the situation. <br /> <br />There were no other reports. Council- <br />man Berry moved that the reports be <br />accepted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. Linda Garrett asked what the status <br />was on the alley way behind her home. <br />Mr. Wurl recommended that the alley not <br />be abandoned because in the futur there <br />may be a need for it. <br />After discussion Councilman DelPizzo <br />moved that the alley way between Short <br />and Caledonia be opened, graveled and <br />the property line be brought back to <br />their original point. Seconded by <br />Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call on <br />
