L.U.R.A. cont'd FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUEST for SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT COAL CREEK BY-LAWS -2- It was stated that the job outlines should be reviewed throughout the City staff and also the L.U.R.A. staff. Councilwoman Dhieux suggested that a work session with the staffs and the City Attorney be held before any decision is made on the matter. Councilman DelPizzo stated he could not understand what was trying to be done. Mr. Chenoweth stated that he preferred staying a separate entity as it is now. Mayor Waschak felt before any decision is made the matter should be discussed thoroughly. Councilman DelPizzo moved that L.U.R.A be kept as it is now keeping them as a separate entity. Seconded by Council- woman Scholl. After discussion roll call was taken. Berry no, Scholl yes, Dhieux no, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo yes. Motion defeated. Councilman DiCarlo moved that all action be tabled on the matter until a work session has been held between the City staff, L.U.R.A. staff, and attorneys and decide on any recommendations that they bring before Council. Seconded by Councilwoman Dhieux. Roll call on motion Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, Del- Pizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mayor Waschak stated that the Firemen would like to have a special permit issued for December 21, 1974, at 5:00 P.M. until December 22, 1974, at 5:00 P.M. and also on December 31, 1974, 3:00 P.M. to January 1, 1975, 3:00 P.M. A question was brought up in regards to a public hearing on the matter. It was decided the matter be tabled until the attorney has reviewed the matter and reports back to Council. Mayor Waschak recommended to the Council that action on the By-Laws be tabled. It was suggested that George Vranesh be present to review the by-laws. Council went through the by-laws briefly stating their questions. No action was taken
