<br />L.U.R.A. cont'd <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUEST <br />for SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT <br /> <br />COAL CREEK BY-LAWS <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />It was stated that the job outlines should <br />be reviewed throughout the City staff and <br />also the L.U.R.A. staff. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux suggested that a work <br />session with the staffs and the City <br />Attorney be held before any decision is <br />made on the matter. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated he could not <br />understand what was trying to be done. <br />Mr. Chenoweth stated that he preferred <br />staying a separate entity as it is now. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak felt before any decision <br />is made the matter should be discussed <br />thoroughly. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that L.U.R.A <br />be kept as it is now keeping them as a <br />separate entity. Seconded by Council- <br />woman Scholl. After discussion roll call <br />was taken. Berry no, Scholl yes, Dhieux <br />no, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo yes. Motion <br />defeated. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that all action <br />be tabled on the matter until a work <br />session has been held between the City <br />staff, L.U.R.A. staff, and attorneys <br />and decide on any recommendations that <br />they bring before Council. Seconded by <br />Councilwoman Dhieux. Roll call on motion <br />Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, Del- <br />Pizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that the Firemen <br />would like to have a special permit <br />issued for December 21, 1974, at 5:00 P.M. <br />until December 22, 1974, at 5:00 P.M. <br />and also on December 31, 1974, 3:00 P.M. <br />to January 1, 1975, 3:00 P.M. <br />A question was brought up in regards to <br />a public hearing on the matter. It <br />was decided the matter be tabled until <br />the attorney has reviewed the matter and <br />reports back to Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak recommended to the Council <br />that action on the By-Laws be tabled. <br />It was suggested that George Vranesh be <br />present to review the by-laws. Council <br />went through the by-laws briefly stating <br />their questions. No action was taken <br />
