COUNCIL COMMENTS

Councilman DiCarlo questioned the side-
1Nalks on Hutchinson Street. Mr. Wurl stated
that the contractors were going to correct
the work.

Councilman DiCarlo asked what was done about
the Bulleting Board for the outside at City
Hall. City Engineer White stated that the
board has been ordered from Carsons Supply
in Denver.

Councilwoman Dhieux reported on the Consortium
Board. She stated that the meeting consisted
'much of the Longmont Comprehensive Plan.
She felt that the meeting was very interest-
ing. It was suggested that Councilwoman
Dheiux report be written up and distributed.

Councilwoman Scholl stated that Broomfield
has not been at the meetings and she felt
that a letter should be sent to the Com-
missioners by the City stating that Broom-
field should be contacted and requested
to attend the meeting.

Councilwoman Scholl stated that citizens have
telephoned her and stated that they felt
the Parks & Rec registration for the activities
should be opend first to Louisville citizens
for a short period of time and then any
vacancies in the classes can be filled by people
outside of the City. She stated that this
matter should be brought up with the Park &
Rec Board.

It was also stated that the trees at
Pirates Park have the Dutch Elm disease.

LCDC REPORT

Barbara McDonald stated that LCDC owns
property on Hutchinson Street, and construction
will be starting as soon as possible for the
elderly housing. There will be land moving
equipment in that location at the end of the
summer and if sidewalks are put in before
the equipment has finished its land work the
sidewalks will be destroyed. She asked if
there was some type of arrangement that could
be made so the sidewalks won't have to be
put in until after the work. It was suggested
that the equipment be brought in at the west
side of the lot. Mr. Wurl stated that Coun-
cil might authorize an extension until an
agreement could be worked out with the corp-
oration.

-2-
