<br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT cont'd <br /> <br />COURT COST REPORT J~ttorney Morris reported that a court cost <br />ean be levied in the amount of $5.00 for <br />eases tried to court and $15.00 to cases <br />tried to a jury. This is at the judges <br />discretion. <br /> <br />MA YHOFFER LAND CONDEMNATION <br /> <br />Attorney M:>rris stated that he felt the problem <br />had been resolved on the property. He was <br />informed that Mayhoffer will accept the sum <br />of $64,530.00 for the property. Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved that Council approve the City <br />Attorneys request stating that the City <br />proceed with the finalization of the May- <br />hoffer property in the amount of $64,530.00 <br />8ffid authorize the check for the difference. <br />Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call. <br />Scholl yes, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. At this time the <br />deed will be turned over to the City. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE /1450 <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance /1450 in regards <br />to Street Name Changes. Councilwoman Dhieux <br />moved that the Ordinance be ordered published. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. <br />Scholl yes, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RIDER LETTERS <br />PLUMLY & COATES <br /> <br />Attorney Morris stated that the letter which <br />was received indicates that a law suit could <br />possibility be filed. He stated that the <br />letter was turned over to the insurance <br />company and there should be no further steps <br />taken. He stated that with Councils approval <br />he will write a letter to the Attorney stating <br />that the matter has been turned over to the <br />Citys insurance. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tem Berry adjourned the meeting at <br />9:00 P.M. <br />
