<br />LURA APPOINTMENT cont'd <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak asked that she attend the <br />next meeting to see if she would not <br />like to continue on the Board. Council- <br />man DiCarlo asked if any other names <br />were submitted to the Board. Mr. Lund- <br />berg stated that Mr. Jerry McDonald had <br />also submitted a request to fill the <br />vacancy. It was then questioned why Mr. <br />McDona1ds' name was not brought to Council. <br />l1r. Lundberg stated that the Board choose <br />Mr. Hershey instead. The opening was <br />not printed in the paper. <br />Because of the problem in the LURA appoint- <br />ment, Councilman Domenico moved that the <br />different Boards submit a group of names <br />to Council of interested citizens and <br />Council then choose one. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Mr. Ed Deborski <br />stated that the motion was wrong in <br />changing the procedure if Council does <br />not approve to the Boards suggestions. <br />Roll call vote on the motion. Domenico <br />yes, Berry no, Scholl no, Dhiuex no, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no. Motion defeated. <br /> <br />PASQUALES LIQUOR <br />LICENSE HEARING <br /> <br />The problem was to decide if the case <br />for the liquor license should be held <br />by the state or by the City. Council- <br />man DelPizzo moved that the hearing be <br />handled by the City. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Domenico. Councilwoman Scholl <br />asked that the motion be amended to read <br />that the hearing be handled by the state <br />since they made the inspection. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call vote <br />on the amendment. Domenico no, Berry <br />no, Dhieux yes, Scholl yes, DelPizzo no, <br />DiCarlo yes. Tie vote. Mayor Waschak <br />voted no defeating the amendment to the <br />motion. Roll call vote on the motion. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl no, <br />Dhieux no, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no. <br />Tie vote. Mayor Waschak voted yes carrying <br />the motion 4-3. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Mr. Morris <br />be instructed to draw up specifications <br />of charges and inform Mr. Co1abe11o of <br />procedures on hearing. A hearing date <br />of April 29, 1974 at 7:00 P.M. was <br />scheduled. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Gans presented to Council that <br />the Board is not a full Board. There is <br />one vacancy. Housing Authority recommended <br />that 2 people be appointed to the Board <br />and Council accept Councilman Domenico <br />resignation. Mr. Gans stated that the <br />
