Absent
Councilman Donovan, City Attorney Morris and City Clerk McNulty. Also
present were City Administrator Wurl, and City Treasurer Hesson.

ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES:

CORRESPONDENCE:

COUNCIL ITEHS:
LIONS CLUB REQUEST

LOUISVILLE WEST ANNEXA-
TION PETITION (SPROUL)

Councilman Jensen moved that the minutes of last
meeting be accepted as presented. Motion
carried.

Councilman King moved that the correspondence be
accepted and brought up under the proper heading
of business. Seconded by Councilman Domenico.
All in favor. Motion carried.

City Administrator Wurl advised Council that the
Lions Club request was the same as previous years.
They wanted to know if Council would guarantee
funds to offset costs on the candy for the child-
ren.
Councilman King moved that Council guarantee to
offset costs of the candy for the children on
Christmas Eve as requested by the Lions Club.
Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. All in favor.
Motion carried.

City Administrator Wurl introduced Hr. William
McDowall and Mr. Howard Cox, representatives of
Sproul Home, Inc. Hr. Cox then presented Council
with two phases of the request for annexation -
one, the petition for annexation, and two - certi-
fication of the property owners within 300 feet
from the Title Company; the required 4 copies
of the annexation maps and proposed zoning maps.
They also had a check in the amount of $16,000.00
for the first phase of the annexation. Mr.
McDowall informed Council some changes would have
to be made in the first phase as the School Board
had had a meeting and their attorney stated he
was greatly concerned that a precedent might be
set. Consequently, the Board had decided to
table the annexation as presented to them. Mr.
McDowall then went on to say, it was of his
opinion Council would like to consider the entire
project and they were asking Council to do this,
and then turn it over to the Planning Commission.
