<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 18, 1973 <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS <br />REPORT <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl suggested that a letter <br />of congratulations and intent to cooperate <br />be sent to the Mayor and Council members of <br />Lafayette. All council members concurred <br />with her recommendation. <br /> <br />A. RI~..Eort __~a!=er_ Mains <br />WaterTine instalTation is progressing <br />satisfactorily and the new 14" main is <br />about completed along South Boulder goad. <br /> <br />B. RI~Eort~treet Overlay <br />Street overlay project is completed for this <br />year - also managed to squeeze in McKinley <br />and Rex at very little extra cost. <br /> <br />C. ReEort Swimming~ool <br />Construction commenced on Friday, September <br />1,4th, 1973. <br /> <br />D. Repo~t o~-Rarking Lot <br />City Administrator Wurl requested an extension <br />of 15 to 18 days to complete the job on the <br />parking lot at the old Steinbaugh lumber yard <br />property. Councilman Donovan moved to allow <br />extension on time to 60 days on parking lot <br />job. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll <br />call vote, Deborski no, Jensen no, Donovan <br />yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />E Hutchinson Street Sidewalks <br />City Administrator Hurl reported there are two <br />possibilities regarding the Hutchinson Street <br />sidewalks and curbin~. <br />1. Formation of sidewalk District Association; <br />Ci ty fund it and as ses s propel-'t"! C\r.1.ers. <br />2. Select bid from Fleming and proceed to <br />get the people to \.york out SOl,le payr:~ent <br />schedule. <br />Councilman Deborski moved to tnstal1 c~:Lde\ilalk <br />and negotiate with people 0::1 Hut.Cr-:JU30tl ~~t. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Donovan moved to aCCC>iJt 11iu a[tpr <br />neighbors negotiate to install Sid(>\\'aFc on <br />north side of Hutchinson St. feconded by <br />Councilman Debo:;:ski. Roll call vote - Dom- <br />enico yes, Scholl yes, Donovan yes, Jensen <br />yes, Deborski yes. Motion carried. <br />C:ouncilman Jensen moved to repeal motion to <br />let out bids on sidewalks. Seconded by COW1- <br />cilman Deborski. Poll call vote - Dehorski <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
