<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />ITEMS FROM PEOPLE <br />IN ATTENDANCE NOT <br />APPEARING ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS <br />REPORT <br />OLIVAS ALLEY <br />VACATION <br /> <br />CITY QUESTIONNAIRE <br /> <br />BUILDING INSPECTORS <br />REPORT <br /> <br />P.U.C. NOTICE <br /> <br />NIELSEN LETTER <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 16, 1973 <br /> <br />Mr. Percy Connaroe inquired when the budget would <br />be presented. City Administrator Wurl advised <br />on Tuesday October 23, 1973. <br /> <br />We had a request from Mr. John Olivas to vacate <br />an alley as described on the enclosed map. <br />The only utilization of the alley is by the <br />Public Service Company, and the City should re- <br />tain any easement rights. <br />Councilman Jensen moved that City Attorney Morris <br />prepare an Ordinance to vacate the Olivas alley. <br />Seconded by Councilman Donovan. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />Questionnaire to be sent out to all the citizens <br />in the City and asked for Council's approval. <br />After discussion, Councilman Donovan moved that <br />City Administrator 1:.Jurl be authorized to mail <br />questionnaire to the citizens of Louisville. <br />Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Percy Connaroe inquired as to fees collected <br />by the City as to whether or not they pay his <br />salary. City Administrator '..JurI reported that <br />he felt certain that the City was ahead of the <br />salary in this respect. <br />COLmcilman Deborski moved that we have a running <br />monthly tabulation of what the building inspector's <br />fees are versus what his collections are. <br />Seconded by Councilman Jensen. Question called <br />for - Deborski aye, Jensen aye, Donovan aye, <br />Scholl no, Domenico aye. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl reported that generally <br />if these type things apply to cities - Colorado <br />Municipal League will fight for us. After dis- <br />cussion between Council and Attorney , Council- <br />man Jensen moved that Council use resources <br />available through the Colorado Municipal League <br />in attempt to enforce Public Service Co. to follow <br />specified requirements in this matter pertaining <br />to the rate increase. Seconded by Councilman Dono- <br />Vffil. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator \.JurI read the letter in entirety <br />and explained that the proper figures for the <br />Library Account had been included in the budget, <br />but without the proper breakdown - added he felt <br />certain this would take care of the matter. <br /> <br />Page - 3 - <br />
