Chairman Keith Helart <br />reported the term was two years. Councilman King inquired <br />you have $57,000 - will you 'come to us before the term <br />expires with a definite program? Chairman Helart assured <br />him that the~ P&R Board would do so. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan reported we never act on things brought <br />up before Council. Mandatory trash pickup has been brought <br />up three or four times and no discussion or action taken. <br />Let's carry this out. Councilman King moved that City <br />Administrator Wurl and City Attorney Morris be instructed <br />to pursue the method or means of compulsory trash pick- <br />up in the City of Louisville. Seconded by Councilman <br />Donovan. Roll call vote Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen <br />no, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />We should get one of the local business men to let us <br />post a sign of bus schedule. Percy Connaroe remarked <br />\Ne do not have a place to pick up the people and they <br />have to stand out in the weather. The Bus Company <br />should share a little of the responsibility in helping <br />to obtain a place. <br />Mayor Caranci suggested that a Committee be appointed <br />to talk with the Bus Company. Councilman Donovan <br />moved the Hayor choose a Cormnittee and set up a bus <br />stop with indoor facilities. Seconded by Councilman <br />Jensen. All in favor. Motion carried. Mayor Caranci <br />appointed Councilmen Jensen, Scholl and Donovan to act <br />on this committee. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan suggested a need for more industry. <br />The Harney property was discussed. Cormnent made that <br />this property is all undemnined and in Estate. <br />Councilman King suggested the industrial area should <br />go southwest, and recommended a joint meeting with the <br />Planning Commission and Citizens Advisory Committee. <br />City Administrator Wurl inqured as to what kind of <br />industry Council wished. Councilman Jensen moved to <br />have a meeting with Planning Commission, Citizens Ad- <br />visory Comrnittee and to encourage industry within the <br />City of Louisville sometime in June and to decide <br />what type, kind and qualifications. SEconded by Council- <br />man Donovan. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan requested to see the fire report <br />on the theater; also he would like to have something <br />definite on how the Junk Ordinance could be enforced. <br />City Administrator Wurl expressed his desire to include <br />recodification of all ordinances in next year's budget. <br /> <br />Councilman Jensen moved for adjourment. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. All in favor. MOtion carried. <br />
