<br />';ULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 3, 1973 <br /> <br />OLD DRUG STORE <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br />WATER DISTRIBUTION <br />SCHEDULE I <br /> <br />SCHEDULE II <br /> <br />ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA <br /> <br />Council requested contract due to the fact there will be <br />no deed with our expenditure of $1,500. Included is the <br />relocation of the present tenant, demolition schedule, <br />and the schedule of the deeding - dependent on getting <br />the tenant out. Urban Renewal requested check for $1,500 <br />no later thml June 30, 1973. City Administrator Wurl <br />advised check has been prepared. Councilman Donovan <br />moved to issue check in the amount of $1,500 for acquisition <br />of old drug store property. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. <br />Roll call vote - Deborski yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, <br />Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />To include Spruce Street City limits to Main Street. <br />Does not include the work LURA is going to do. South <br />Boulder Road and the areas between Griffith Street and <br />South Boulder Road to the railroad tracks. Developed <br />plans and specifications on all three of the projects <br />and estimated costs. <br /> <br />Lafayette Street - Total cost of improvements $45,595.00 <br />City Administrator Wurl asked for authorization to call <br />for bids on the project for August 1st, 1973 to award at <br />Council Meeting- August 7th, 1973. Mayor Protem King <br />added - these jobs have got to be done. Councilman <br />Jensen moved that Schedule I - Spruce Street City <br />limits to Main Street and Schedule II Lafayette Street <br />be formulated into a bid form and be let for bids on <br />August 1st and be awarded at the August 7th, 1973 <br />Council Meeting. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. <br />Councilwoman Scholl asked when can we anticipate the <br />work being done. City Administrator Wurl advised - <br />around the middle of August. <br />Councilman Deborski asked why these two streets were <br />on priority. City Administrator Wurl advised previous <br />studies by Bruns and Associates as well as the present <br />study done by the City Engineer indicated that those <br />two particular lines would do more for the connnunity <br />as relates to pressure and water supply. <br />Roll call vote Deborski yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, <br />Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Henry Waugh inquired of Council why they changed <br />the name of East Street to Courtesy Road. Oity Administrator <br />Wurl to check ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. George Ellis registered a complaint relating to weeds <br />and garbage at the Fischer Apartments.
