Attorney
Morris explained that it was the appelent who was responsible for proceeding
with his license application. It was the desire of the Council that we republish
and advertise for Hearing on February 6, 1973, and that the City Administrator
establish clarification of "the date of the original filing.

Discussion of the Mayhoff,::!r land required for the wastewater treatment
plant expansion. There was serious doubt in the mind of those
council members present that City in fact was responsible for the delay;
secondly the City Attorney pointed out that the value of the proposed ease-
ment was minimal, in that t:here already existed a surface easement at the same
location. After much discussion, Councilman King moved to authorize the total
expenditure of $1,000 to resolve the right-of-way problem at the Baptist
Church, second by Domenico. ~;~ll voted in favor.

There was further discussion about the amount in the neighborhood of $2,500
due the City for the curb and gutter assesstment on the property on Lafayette
Street owned by Reverend Green.
