Dates of campaign <br />finalized as April 28th and May 5th. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding changing wages of City <br />officials. Attorney Morris stated it is not necessary <br />to have six months to make changes - just so that it is <br />done before election. Councilman King suggested changes <br />of wages should be done prior to filing date and another <br />month to consider wage raises for all personnel for the <br />City, Council, Mayor, City Clerk, and Treasurer. <br /> <br />A discussion was held on Fireworks Ordinance. Attorney <br />Morris suggested that Council hold off to see what happens <br />at State Legislature. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski asked our position on water meters <br />and water storage. City Administrator Wurl wants to <br />put together a package of responsibilities and submit <br />same to Council on an all out recommendation which he <br />will have ready for next meeting. <br />Councilman King requested that Council go on record as <br />saying we would like to see the installation of water <br />meters in the City of Louisville within fiscal year of <br />1973. <br />Mayor Caranci suggested that we pursue the financial <br />deal and bring it all up at one time. <br />Councilman Deborski inquired about water storeage. <br />City Administrator Wurl stated we are to have a decision <br />by Friday, April 20th as to the State Engineer's position <br />and then we will be able to report something more meaning- <br />ful to you. <br />Councilman Deborski asked what's the latest - who is going <br />to front the project? <br />Mr. Wurl replied - the latest is that we will front it <br />and contract with the other cities. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski advised Council the new fire truck <br />would be delivered within 10 days. <br /> <br />Councilman Jensen suggested master meters be installed <br />on every loop on the water lines. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl reported Dave Scherrer had called <br />and requested his neighbor be instructed to have side- <br />walks installed - property owned by Milton Steele. <br />Mr. Wurl to take care of the situation. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Seconded by Councilman Jensen. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />
