<br />2. <br /> <br />Fire DepartJlent Comm.ittee: Chief/ Bill Ryan stated that they <br />have 115 signed for rural fire protection and anticipate more <br />at $25.00 each per year. The rural fire truck will be trans- <br />fered from the rural fire district to the City of Louisville. <br />Remaining fire funds ..left in the rural district freasury will <br />be giveVone half to Sbperior and the other half to Cherryvale. <br />Jensen said we can't do much about it until it is discussed, <br />justification and need. <br />Motion by Jensen seconded by Deborski to prepare justification <br />for new truck in compliance with the report from the fire <br />committee. Mot-;on carried. <br />Deborski ~st1dned ; what equipment will be for the rural district? <br />Ryan replied that the rural truck and emergency will be used. <br />Chief Ryan requested that time be extended for 'signing of people <br />Motion by Donovan to extend fire protection time to April 4th. <br />It will require Bome positive ipdications, Title to truck and <br />evidence of formation of new area . Attorney suggested a map and <br />tacks be used to indicate territory of new area. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrators Report: A letter was read from Mr. Arlo <br />Wilson in r(.;gards to a raise of Policemans Pension. He re- <br />quested that he be paid one half of Sargeants pay. .fter <br />some discussion Attorney Morris refered to the state statutes <br />and informed Council they ~ould .not act on this matter but it <br />was up to ....the Policemen Pension Board. Mayor Caranei will <br />call a meeting of tiis board sometime during the week of <br />Februat"y 21st. <br />Requested permission from Clyweke to move fehce at the water <br />plant, permission was granted as long as the fence is replaced <br />after completion. , <br />Bid sheets have been sent out for work at filter plant. Closing <br />date March 10th at 10 A. M.. Depor2ki recommended that Ken Bruns <br />set up meeting for dates of schedules of completibn to sub con- <br />tractors. CAP has not submitted preformance bond to date. <br />Three councilmen were present to go'to the filter plant for oren- <br />tat ion on the plant. <br /> <br />Mayor appointed Rudy ~lavee, John Waschak and Cliff Brock as <br />members of the Local Traffic Circulatory Committee. <br /> <br />~otion bY' ling second~d by Donovan to appoint Joe Madonna as <br />represenative,to the Colorado Municipal League.
