<br />Page - 2 - <br /> <br />ITEMS ON AGENDA: <br />Deborski - Clear well #~~ inoperable, taken out service, two existing <br />valves coming out. <br />Max - complete report, Oll schmatics. <br />Mayor - have a meeting ldth engineers Monday July 24, 1972. <br />Deborski - requested that the contractors be present. <br />Max gave analysis of wat,er shares. <br />200 AF - Little Davidson <br />633 AF - Louisville Decree <br />53 AF - Dry Creek <br />We have 635 AF left as of July 17, 1972. The shares that were in question <br />were 56 AF Ehterpriso, ~)3 AF Dry Creek, 133 AF Howard. This has been <br />straightened out with Tom Platt and we do own them. <br /> <br />633 AF - Howard <br />56 AF - Enterprise <br /> <br />Max - Special water permits have had at least forty requests for permits, but did <br />not allow them since Council scrid no more permits would be issued. Don de linge r <br />has not c orne in for special p ermi t as of this date. Inform him that all p emits <br />were cancelled and no more jlssued as of Apr11',16, 1972. <br /> <br />Violations on water only $5..00 - used to be $50.00; charge $25.00 <br /> <br />Chief Munger - permission to a.ttend International Association of Chiefs of Police <br />convention in Salt Lake Cit~r - will share expenses. Expenses to be from $300 to <br />$475.00. Motion by King to au"thorize expenditures - no second. Motion by Max- <br />well t.o allow Chief to attend IACP and allow legitimate expense up to $475.00 <br />seconded by King. Motion carried with one negative vote. <br /> <br />Boiler at filter plant is worn out. Also, McNulty would like to have telephone <br />at filter. What has happened to the radio? Antenna has not been installed. <br />Max st,ated he was very much ag.ainst a telephone. Make sure radio is working <br />before permission is given for telephone. <br /> <br />Max stiated the County Board of Health informed him that spraying for mosquitoes <br />is very ineffective - at mO:3tit can last two days. <br /> <br />Jensen: Received lett.er frclm DRCOG stating they would like to meet with Council <br />at an informal meeting to explain the the purpose of DRCOG. Deborski will attend <br />meeting July 19, 1972. <br /> <br />Patrolman John McGuire has ;served his probation period and is now eligible for <br />permanent patrolman. Motiolrl b;y King, seconded by Jensen that McGuire be hired <br />as regular patrolman. <br /> <br />Donovan - Finance CoIlllllittee Meeting July 25, 1972 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Deborski - Ordinance 377 states fine for watering out of hours - $5.00. <br />Attorney Morris - Council is proper in adopting rules for water. <br />Max - decision on size of tap up to buildi.ng inspector. Ordinance #377 still <br />in effect - nothing larger than 3/4" only with special permission. <br /> <br />Or dinance #396 tabled. <br />
