In the event we are unsuccess- <br />ful in 701 funding, we w:nl revert back t,o original ccntr.?ct with Oblinger-Smith <br />with appropriate changes. Motion Garried. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COHPLAINTS: <br />Mrs. Rosanna Camps reported she had sent a check for sewer payments, but did <br />not endorse same because she has been trying to meet with Sanitaticn District for <br />two years and has been unable to do so. Mayor recommended she go to Sanitation meet- <br />ing on Sept. 12, 1972 and register this complaint. .she agreed to do this. <br /> <br />Don Martella registered a complaint against pronerty neighboring his to the <br />south .~ formerly old Bantist. Church. Stated a make-shift chimney was on his nro- <br />perty and he was going t,O have Varra Landscaping come in to nrepare ground for <br />J a,ying sod; feared heavy equiDment would knock chilT'J1ey down. Counei1 recormnended <br />thi. s matter be taka1 Uf, with the t:rban Reneival Beard and have their inspector make <br />recor:mi,andations regarding t.he nroperty in question. <br /> <br />!'J!ayor instruct,ad Cleo to ask Max to tum over all city properties in his possession, <br />including keys, etc. <br /> <br />) 2~,f1't'):<\~'i-"rl !; { , <br />Council recorrrnended Q,r-d:i_l-'d.rtC~e k20 regarding 001.1 buffer zone be sent to Congressmen <br /> <br />Brotzman, Allott, and Domini.ck.. <br /> <br />Hr. Action tabled - to be d.iscussed at the Park and Rec and <br />Council meeting on August 21, 1972. <br /> <br />King requested feasibility of converting 6 Continental View residents t,o tre:J.ted <br />water.. t>au~_ to reread contract.s with Phillip Pyles and report to Council. <br /> <br />The boiler and .f'urnace must be replaced at the filter plant. Mayor suggested over- <br />head space heaters. Motion by King, seconded by Deborski that McNult,y prepare a <br />request for bids for improving heating facilities at filter plant, submit. by Sent. <br />5, 19'72. Motion carried. <br />
