<br />POLICE COMi'ESSION: <br />Police' Committee voted for I1atts as the new P at.rolman. <br />Council after reading a letter composed by Chief Patrick <br />recommending Munger for position. Motion by Perrella <br />seconded by DOQrlelinger to hire Mr. Munger. Roll Call vote <br />Perrella yes, ~ondelinger yes, Berry yes, King No. Motion <br />carried. <br />Chief ~atrick was given permission to proceed with application <br />for federal money to buy new radio equipment. The City would <br />submit approximately one-fourth of the total or $2,100. <br />Cheifof Police stated plans for a tri City dispatching <br /> <br />arrangement between Broomfield, Lafayette and Louisville are <br />progressing. This will cost the city $250. per month for Lou- <br />isville and will provide effieient 24 hour police and fire <br />dispatching service also e~)lained an alternative plan if <br />the grant request is not:lapproved. <br />City Administrator Ymx Sanks showed Council a bill for $108. <br />dollars fot dogs ,taken to thz pound. <br />Motion by erry :;jeconded by ondelinger to accept program de,- <br />pending on federal grant and three cities cooperation. <br />Roll Call vote King yes, ~rry\yes, Motion carried. <br /> <br />In regards to John Williams refnnding payment to City. <br />Chief stated he has been unable to contact him but will <br />send a certified letter. <br /> <br />ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA: <br /> <br />Motion by Perrella seconded by Berry to concur with Planning <br />Commission letter in hiring Vinc Parecca as planning coordinator. <br />Letter to be sent to Vine Parecca and Planning Commission. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe stated that, ,Mr. Pareccae would be drawing salary <br />from Boulder County and the Cj.ty. <br />Perrella does not want anything to involve Boulder County. <br />Roll Call vote Perrella yes, ~ondelinger yes, Berry yes, <br />King No, Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor stated he had received calls in regards to sanitation <br />blockages. Mayor requested that sanitation board be notified of <br />meeting with council Wed., April 28th at 70'clock P. M.. <br />May'~r also ordered water restrictions hours be enforced. <br />7 A. M. to 11 A. M. and 4 P. M. to 8 P. M. to be published in <br />Louisville times and hand bills made and peddled. <br /> <br />In regards to Brock water line publish for bids.
