COUNCIL MEETn~G MINUTES OOTOPER 20, 1970 MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY MAYOR LAvTRBNCE CARANCI. ROIJ., CALL: Present: Tomeo, Koprowski., Berry, Mudrock, Dondelinger, Perrella. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Minutes accepted after correction. City Administrator stated he had a slurry machine and an oil machine which a Longmont man would like to sell to the City for $3000. Council to meet at the City garage to check out machine, Wednesday night at 6:30 p. m. STREETS: Perrella had gone over the streets and commended on a nice job. Contractor had cut out some of Lincoln Avenue filled it with gravel to take up some of the sponginess then they will pave. Perrella stated we will have one guarentee on this project. Larry Hancock has option on Harney land. Harney wants drainage ditch on east side of fence. '.' ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA: Mayor Caranci stated there was three things he would ,like to have taken care off. 1. All grills taken off; the storm: drainage inlets. 2. Want~ the cell block welded and back to original being. 3. Sue I.Jrosso is only member on Parks & Recreation Board. Mayor proceeded to name Koprowski, Mudrock, Dondelinger , /jJ and hiInselt to act on this board. These gentlemen will '.~ I act until they find some one to replace them. Councilmen Berry, Perrella and Joe Madonna att:ded the Boulder County, C~\I'qnissioners Planning meeting. Mr. Pel'rella presente4 the Hi-Way recommcdations from the \.iity, . Dues will ~" $300. for .uenver Regional etouncil of uovernment all Council agreed to pay this amount. CITY ADMINI~TRATORS REPORT: Lincoln Avenue base'is in, parking in rear of City hall completed. Main Stree~.to' be respread and re rolled as as' soonas weather permits. c, Chief Patrick tO~lcommended for his service on traffic during seal- of Main Street. Also Leonard Lawrence for obtaining "No P'H.'kinglll signs. No notice' was given by Flatirons on starting day. New automatic valve being installed at filter plant. Fence is completed at filter plant. New 1411 pipe to be installed next week. Welder will be present to cut old pipe for removal. Ken Hruns has presented master water planfor Louisville also pro- posed water district map for Louisville, Letters and map ready to be pre'sented to Lafayette. . Glen Steinbaugh has been approached in regards to discount on sales. More than willing to allow 10% discount on all purcheses. Cliff ~ock stated he would be started approx1maetly Jan. lst~, 1970 on con~truction of 134 apartments units in Cottonwood Manor. Home coroming bon fire will be held at City garage site due to con- struction at High school. Contact made wtth l{rs. Udovich tor curb and gutter on Jetferson avenue. St~ted she has map and platt that may show locations. Mt. Stntes Video would like to come into the City with cable T.V. Council requested gentleman be present at Nov. 4th meeting with more i.,formation.
