<br />II' <br /> <br /> <br />Senior Advisory Board <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 12, 2009 <br />Senior Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />1 :00 PM <br /> <br />Call to Order - Chairperson Larry Brassem called the meeting to order at <br />1 :OOpm. <br /> <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Larry Brassem, Carol Purfurst, Dianne Bernier, Ann <br />Coan, and Walt Oehlkers. <br /> <br />Board Members Absent: <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Katie Beasley, Claudine Low, Jamie Taylor <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda - The agenda was approved by all members. <br /> <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes - The minutes from the 4-10-09 meeting were <br />approved as written <br /> <br />Public Comments - None <br /> <br />Jamie Taylor-intern- was introduced to the members. He is interning at the <br />Louisville Senior Center this summer. He comes to the center form the East <br />coast. Those present at the meeting discussed several options for day trips and <br />lunch and dinner sites. Among them The Wellshire Inn for dinner in December; <br />Oskar Blues in January and Rodizio's in February. Luncheon suggestions for <br />December are Briarwood Inn, Golden, Carellis in Boulder in January, and Helgas <br />in Aurora for February. Some suggestions for day trips include: Governors <br />mansion tour; CU Christmas Festival and/or Candlelight Theater in Loveland. <br />These would occur in December. In January it was suggested that we visit the <br />Wildlife Experience south of Denver.
