<br />Rossman Familv. 1940 to 1971 (31 Years) <br /> <br />Anna and Julius Rossman Sr. purchased 561 Lincoln in 1940, Julius worked as a <br />machineman for coal mines in the area; he passed away in about 1955, In an interesting <br />repeat of the situation with Augusta Smith Wintle Thomas Koeppler, Anna Rossman was <br />remarried to a widower, John RotaI', who was a longtime Louisville resident and miner. <br />They both then made their home at 561 Lincoln, John RotaI' passed away in 1965, Upon <br />the death of Anna Rossman RotaI' in around 1971, ownership was transferred to Lucille <br />and Julius Rossman, Jr., and it was sold and went out of the Rossman family at that time, <br /> <br />The preceding research is based on a review of relevant and available online County property records, <br />census records, oral history interviews, Louisville directories, and Louisville Historical Museum maps, <br />files, and obituary records. <br /> <br />Research by Bridget Bacon, Louisville Historical Museum <br />June 2009 <br />
