Until the demands are known for the redevelopment the
estimated ultimate demand of 7,120 AF will continue to be used.

I.V. Evaluation of ExistinQ Practices

The measurement of the effectiveness of water conservation measures, policies and
practices is difficult. Numerous controllable and uncontrollable variables can impact
the consumption of water. The City, through this updated and previous conservation
plans attempts to address the controllable variables (rate structure, or . ances,
irrigation BMP's, reuse, etc.) while trying to be prepare or the u rollable
(weather, economy, unexpected change in demographi, .). The ity utilized
available data to determine, where possible, the caus vings. Easy items to
quantify include measures like reuse, where mea savings are readily
apparent. Savings from other items, like educ re significantly
more difficult to quantify. And of course, ite n result in large
swings in consumption and may quickly ne d long- rm savings. Even
with those difficulties it would appear that th of Louisville's conservation
measures and overlap from adjacent entities a ving a positive impact on
reducing water consumption and pro . the wis of water. The remainder of
this plan attempts to quantify and qual ess of current and proposed
future water conservation practices.

nt Production numbers.
