<br />Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 4, 2000 <br />Page 21. <br /> <br />Water Rights, and a Conservation Easement, for Open Space, Conservation, and Right- <br />of-Way Purposes - Bowes Property, SE Comer Dillon Road & 88th Street. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council set Ordinance No. 1335, Series 2000, An <br />Ordinance Authorizing the Payment of City Moneys for the Acquisition of Vacant Real <br />Estate, Water Rights and a Conservation Easement, for Open Space, Conservation, and <br />Right-of-Way Purposes - Bowes property, SECorner Dillon Road & 88th Street out for <br />publication and set the public hearing for April 18, 2000, seconded by Mayer. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 2.92.010 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />NOTICE MUST BE GIVEN THAT AT ITS APRIL 18,2000 REGULAR <br />MEETING, THE LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL MAKE A FINAL <br />DETERMINATION AS TO THE ACQUISITION OF VACANT REAL ESTATE <br />AND WATER RIGHTS FOR OPEN SPACE PURPOSES - ESMAIL PROPERTY, <br />NORTHEAST CORNER HYW 42 & EMPIRE ROAD <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff Presentation. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator stated notice was required that the City of Louisville, <br />City of Lafayette, and Boulder County are pursuing an open space acquisition of <br />approximately 35.68 aces together with certain water rights, referred to as the Esmail <br />property. Simmons stated that the property is located on the northeast comer of the <br />intersection of Highway 42 and South 104th Street, adjacent to the Louisville Cemetery. <br />Simmons noted the total purchase price is $450,000, with the City of Louisville to pay <br />$112,500. <br /> <br />MOTION: Davidson moved that Council send notice of the April 18, 2000 Regular City <br />Council Meeting to Make Final Determination as to the Acquisition of Vacant Real <br />Estate and Water Rights Purposes - Esmail Property, northeast comer of the intersection <br />of Highway 42 and Empire Road, seconded by Brown.
